YES!!!

Jose Angel is a free man again!

After 6 weeks of being locked up for no apparent reason, he finally is out of the children's shelter.

Only a couple of days late to meet the man who came from the United States especially to give him a donation of clothes AND the two latest Harry Potter books.

But just in time to meet up with a teacher from New York who brought some stuff for the brothers and for all the other street children.

It was a sigh of relief when I finally got the phone call from Eynar.
Both Eynar and Jose Angel were shouting in the phone that they were so happy.
I could hardly understand what they were saying.

They would like to say THANK YOU to everybody who was worried. To everybody who had been sending encouraging messages of support and donations so that Eynar, his aunt, ... could take the necessary buses and taxis to go to all these different offices in Granada, Masaya and Managua. The transport costs per trip were mostly more expensive than what a worker would earn in two days.
So you all helped out tremendously!!
Thank you for helping out and getting things done in a more practical way!
I don't know what they would have done, or where they would be now if it wasn't for you.

Hopefully, normal life will pick up soon...
But the 6 weeks that were lost not going to school are lost forever...
We'll wait and see if he has to do the year over again.
