happy faces at the Comedor of Doña Esperanza!
One of the street kids is shining shoes in the street.
One pair earns him $0.25
They apply the polish with their hands to save on brushes.

Thank you, and see you in a couple of months!!

I made a small donation which I hope may motivate and help you to continue the good service for these children.
Please don't stop blogging - although there is not much people following it, it is now and can continue to be in the future a revelation to people who (like me) gets informed and touched by the lifestyle of the "Chavalos de Granada" and may contribute to the project.
Very good human initiative, and good writting.

Hi Mi Amigo,
I left a small contribution, for you to give it good use in your project with the children.
Please don't stop blogging - although there may be a small number of followers, it can be a good source of donations, as people like me who don't know the reality in which the "chavalos de granada" live may get touched by the descriptions you provide of the local daily life.
PD: It's just a wild dream, but still - if you could sent me a foto with a "chavalo" holding a paper saying "gracias Paulo" (or something of the kind), then that would be great for myself, and also I could use it to try to convince some more people from my friends that I know, to look into the blog and think about donating...
