Fire Dpt...

This morning, I was thinking...
It all started with 2 or 3 street children whom we bought lunch for several years ago.
Now, it is so much more...
Every Saturday, there are between 20 and 30 children enjoying Doña Esperanza's cooking.
We are sponsoring several kids so that they can attend school.
Thanks to several of our guests, a bunch of people (about 14) are taking English classes on a daily basis.
We helped repair a road that was in very bad shape, the Central Park has had a complete make over, etc, ...

Now, I would like to ask if there is anybody out there who might know how to get hold of used fire fighter's gear?
Boots, socks, pants and vests, helmets, ...
Close to our farm, there is an isolated community that has no fire dept whatsoever.
Recently, some guys started a makeshift Fire Department for the Laguna area.
But we thought that there must be a little bit more equipment so that they don't have to put out a burning building on their flip flops, like they did recently.
The people are motivated enough, only the gear is missing.
Maybe, there are things that are considered useless or written off in a dept near you that still are of great importance here.
In the meanwhile, we are arranging for a proper training of the Fire Fighters.
