A couple of days ago... .I longed for some good news.
I got it, but in the meanwhile, something tragic has happened again.
One of the Chavalos, Gabriel, the same boy that you can see in the top left corner of this blog (the biggest one of the two) got killed. Only some weeks ago, he was so happy and excited because he could enter in a religious center to get rid of his glue sniffing problem. I just got the news from Alexander, the boy standing next to Gabriel on aforementioned picture. Gabriel's grandmother is so sad that she can't stop crying.
Gabriel got stabbed in a gang war between two neighboring gangs. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time. He wasn't even a member of any of these gangs.
Rest in peace, my friend. And say hello to all the other Chavalos that have died over the years.
