I like Mondays!

It's been a busy weekend for Jose Angel...!
A quick visit to the family in Nindiri...
Getting all the school supplies together...
Getting a shoe shine...
Tomorrow it is the 2nd of March... the start of a brand new school year.

Only a couple of days ago, last Friday, Jose Angel received his diploma from La Profesora.
His first diploma EVER!
You can imagine how proud he was!

This morning, he came by to get $5 from his "account" to buy rice and beans and vegetables.

Every sunday he takes a bunch of his buddies to the beach in front of the lake and cooks for them!

Wow, it almost blows my mind... this 15 year old taking care of a bunch of other street kids with the modest means he has. Only yesterday a regular visitor from this page wrote me:
This boy has such potential and a wonderful attitude. Given the chance....he would go far in life.
