Big brother, Eyner, drops by regularly to keep an eye on things.He is studying in Managua in the weekends. During the week he tries to earn some money. And he needs $2.50 a week to get to college. Even that is difficult at times.
Not only is he a very smart and caring brother, he is also a good chef. When I went to the house today, Eyner was preparing lunch. It smelled really good!
I noticed that all the food in the house was hanging on the wall. Plastic bags hanging on nails.
I felt almost sorry I asked. They are used to do this, because otherwise the rats and mice eat their food...
Gross.
