He's had a rough past...
Was in jail a couple of times...
The last time he was in jail for several months.
He had stolen a camera from a German tourist.
It doesn't make it right, but he did it because he needed some money to buy milk for his baby.
After he got released the last time, he had to promise his girlfriend that he would quit sniffing glue, stop drinking and never do anything that might get him in jail again.
Months have gone by, and I have never seen him drunk and never have I smelled the glue fumes again.
When he was a small boy, Gabriel lost an eye playing.
A tree branch hit his face, and after some complications, he lost his eye.
I will take a picture soon.
Although this accident took place a long time ago, there is still the possibility for a transplant.
He has met a doctor who lives and works in Colombia.
Gabriel is thrilled with the possibility of having full eye sight again.
And many people are staring at his dead, white colored eye every day.
This is, even after all these years, very disturbing.
I have no idea where this will go...
But then again, I had no idea what was going to happen to Jose Angel's dream house...
And look, he's living in it!
One never knows what might happen...
