Thanks to the generous donation of John, the guys at the house get a nice jump start.
We will make a list of most needed things and repairs, then we'll see what is the most urgent, and have these things taken care off, one by one.
Thanks again, John!
I will post pictures of the house soon!
Several people were worried about a bunch of kids living in a house without supervision.
Well... I think that most of these kids realize that they only have one shot at living comfortable under a roof, sleeping in a real bed and being able to use a toilet, a shower and a kitchen whenever they need to!
A nice bonus is that the neighbor from right across the street of the Chavalo House is a member of the Granada Police.
She keeps an eye on all the goings on, and reports to the landlady whenever something should happen. A nice coincidence.
The inhabitants behave, knowing that they are being watched. We are less worried knowing that any irregularities are being reported immediately.
It's a risk. But we are willing to take it.
So far, they have been doing quite well.
Congratulations guys!!
