The Rainy season started...

For most, the rainy season is an absolute must.
People have been waiting for rain to come, and it came late this year.
Suddenly all the dry and dusty fields turn into a lush, green oasis...
After a couple of showers all the trees start sprouting blossoms and fresh leafs.
The streets get a nice cleaning after a severe shower.
This is all great... especially when the DJ on the radio says:
"It's raining!!! Enjoy the rain!!!"
I haven't heard that too much anywhere else...

But these are hard times for the street children, of course.
At times they have to run to find a different shelter when the wind blows the rain onto their shivering bodies.

We can't rent a house for everybody, but we could make their life a little warmer by providing some long sleeved sweaters or a little blanket.
A little bit of money to buy some hot "Moronga" sausage with tortillas before they "go to bed"! ($0,25 a person would make the difference, you know!)
