Some changes this Saturday ...

Today's list of hot meals for the Chavalos was an almost complete different one than the previous weeks.
Sure... there have been some changes.
New kids arriving, others moving to another city.
A couple of days ago a bunch of the boys that had been getting food and medical help, ... for several years now, went far over the line.
They entered in a house (breaking and entering) and stole lots of stuff.
Food, towels, clothes, ...
When the guy who lived in the house showed up, they held him and went through his pockets to steal his money.
Even the shoes that he was wearing got stolen.
Later that night they threw rocks to the neighbors and to passers by.
All of them had been sniffing glue.
Some of them had been drinking as well.
One of the kids was 5 years old.
Actions have reactions, and everything has it's consequences...

Needles to say that we couldn't tolerate such behavior.
All the ones involved are barred from the meals.
Others, that have been hoping to get on the list, got their chance now.
Alexander took care of everybody getting their plate of food.
He got 'carte blanche' over a few new people, and he included 'Borucho', the old gentleman who has been living on the curbside for decades.
I told him that he could find some new friends.
Preferably nice people who don't cause trouble.

I will check with Doña Esperanza to see if everything went smooth...
