Tuesday...

It's good to know that people are still reading this blog!
Kevin got some financial help, and he has enough bags for his colostomy for the next couple of weeks.
Somebody also sent him some money so that he gets a daily allowance to buy food!
Other good news: He's very likely going to get an operation to have his colon reconnected again. His mother arranged for it, and the hospital is not going to charge for the operation, only for the medication!
I (mis)understood that he'd had the colostomy a couple of years ago, as it turns out, he's had it since birth. He has two exit holes in his tummy.
It is a very embarrassing condition for him, and I'm convinced that being able to use a normal toilet again will be a huge improvement on his life quality.
On the picture you see Kevin Just after he woke up this morning.

Ana Maria came by today as well. The previous medical condition she had last week is taken care of.
Now she has a va***al infection that needs to be taken care of urgently.
Luckily there is enough money in the "Chavalos fund" to get her examined and to get the medication.
The medication is usually a big problem for most people.
My neighbor lost both of her legs as a diabetic. It wouldn't have been necessary if she'd had the right medication. Ana Maria will possibly lose her big tow, or maybe even half of her foot because of not having access in time to the right medication. Doctors are trying to save it, but only time will tell if she'll be able to keep her tow or not. Some months ago a good friend's sister died. We found out that she was sick when it was already too late. She had a simple pneumonia, but all help came too late. The only thing we could do was to ask some of our guests to chip in to buy her a coffin, which they did.

It was a crazy day here today...
At least 15 people came by with their problems, prescriptions and what have you...
It makes you wonder what they did before...
