Today an unknown man rang the doorbell.
I wondered how he got here, and why...
He told me he was referred here by one of our workers of our farm.
We talked for a while, and he told me that his little daughter had just died in Managua.
With tears in his eyes, he told me that he had waited too long before he had taken her to the doctor.
By the time he did, they rushed her to a hospital in Managua, it was too late.
Now, the problem was that he didn't have the money to bring her back for her funeral.
Luckily enough there was enough money in the Chavalo fund to get his little girl back.
8 years old she was.
All help came too late, but at least his daughter can be buried here in Granada, where her family lives and are able to visit her grave.
Lets hear some good news next...
I've never had to deal with so many deaths in such a short time.
