Lola

Lola is the mother of David, whom got killed less than 2 weeks ago.
She filed a complaint against Hector.
Supposedly, she found two witnesses whom saw David being killed by Hector.
What were these two Granada women doing on a military base in Managua?
Even I would be so smart as to not kill anybody with two witnesses present!
And the police accepts an accusation of Lola because of hear say!
I talked to Luz this morning, the sister of Hector.
She and Brandon, the lawyer went to Managua yesterday to find out more about the kidnapping of Hector that would have fitted well in a B-category action movie.
It took them over half a day to find out where Hector was locked up.
Brandon had threatened to bring some news channel crews in and was ready to file an official complaint for kidnapping somebody without a warrant.
When Derechos Humanos (human rights organization) was asked to act, the police finally gave in.
It took all these threats to reveal the whereabouts of Hector.
The case was hermetically sealed of from the outside world.
Only the lawyer could see Hector, his sister couldn't.
Hector told Brandon that they hadn't beaten or mistreated him.
They did put a lot of mental pressure on him to find out more about the laptop of David, that Hector never has seen. They told Hector that there are two witnesses whom saw him kill David, and that he'd better talk.

It is also odd that Lola filed a complaint. She has never ever cared about David, or any of her other kids.
If it wasn't for the poor old grandmother, most of the kids would have been dead by now.
The grandmother raised 6 grandchildren that were rejected by her own daughter.
She says that it doesn't make sense what Lola is doing.

Today the 48 hours, the maximum time they can detain anybody without proof are up.
We will have to wait and see what happens next.
They will have to officially accuse him of manslaughter, or set him free.

Personally, I don't think that hear say is proof enough to lock him up any further.
But here, one never knows.

It did Hector good to see that his family was behind him, and that the lawyer was there to support him.
Hector is a family person, the day of David's killing he was at his house with his family all day.
He has never been to Managua
Today, if he gets released, they will have to find somebody to drive the motorbike back home because nobody dares to drive on the big roads of Managua.
They don't even know how to get back, as they don't know the way.

Keep your fingers crossed that everything will end well today.
So far there were a bunch of expenses.
The lawyer alone has charged $250 for his services.
And because the place where Hector is locked up is very far, on the Carretera de Leon(!) past Managua, the expenses of going there are very high indeed.

If it wasn't for the support from some of you, just imagine what would have happened.
The family would never know where he was or how they could find him.
Hector would think that he was on his own.
What would his chances be when he had to defend himself...?

The sooner this is over, the better.
Hector's family is very close, and they miss their son, brother in their home.
