Today it is exactly 2 months of not sniffing glue.
And it shows!
I have never seen him this radiant and happy.
Only a couple of years ago, he was in the hospital with kidney failure.
All because of excessive glue sniffing.
They had already given him up at the hospital.
His brother David was already arranging for his burial.
It was a small miracle that he pulled through.
Ironically enough, it would be Manuel whom would later bury his older brother.
Recently, Manuel found a job selling pottery and ceramics in Parque Central.
So, if you're looking for a souvenir... you know whom to look for.
It is always nice to support a good cause.
Let us all hope that you stay clean, Manuel!
