The news...

Doña Esperanza can listen to the news again. This morning, John from Idaho, brought her a brand new radio.
You can imagine how delighted she was to receive her new radio!
Doña Esperanza found a new client at the same time.
Especially for John, she will prepare vegetarian dishes for lunch.

Alexander brought over a hungry new mouth to feed. Last Saturday, he enjoyed the first meal from Doña Esperanza's Comedor. With his mouth full, he told her that she is a great chef!

Both Peter from Leeds in the U.K. and John brought a whole bunch of useful things for the upcoming school year. Lots of the small children at the La Laguna Community school will be very pleased with all the notebooks, pencils & pens, crayons and so much more.

We have a "professor" stay at the hotel. To escape the Quebec wintry cold, he is staying here for three months. When he heard that on of my friends couldn't read or write at the age of 24, he felt like he could help to make a difference. Since December, he's been giving Diego Manuel classes in reading, writing and even some math. Now, he's reading text books on Ciencias Naturales.

Lots of happy people in this blog entry!
And it wouldn't be possible without your help.
Keep on reading the goings on of the Granadino Chavalos!
