This and that..

Diego Manuel is still sad about what happened to his father and his wife. Both died within a week's time.
His little daughter still isn't sure what happened to her mother.
The family will break the news about her mami gradually.
Now, they told her that there might be a chance that she will not return.
Later, they will tell her what really happened.
Thank you John and Daniel for your fantastic support in these days of sadness.

The past few days, I went to Costa Rica.
Usually, I take somebody with me. Someone who's has never had the chance to leave the country.
This time, I took Marvin with me, our faithful helper who has been with us for over 10 years now.
We had a great time... visited some museums, had a great stay at a friend's place in San Jose, did some shopping for his girls, ...
Costa Rica is doing really difficult about foreigners (Nicaraguans) entering their country. They have to buy a $30 visa that is only valid for 30 days. And they have to show a ticket out of the country, in order to get in!
One of the Nicas was refused because of this. It took him months to get the money for the one way ticket together.
It was very nice to see that the rest of the travelers on the TransNica bus spontaneously got their wallets out and all chipped in.
There was even some money left for some food and a couple of drinks.
Nice indeed!!!

While I was away, Felix, the cat from our farm, had two babies.
She had them in the back of a wine rack in the kitchen, hidden from all the dangers.
Felix is only a year old, but her instincts work very well.
It will be the first and the last time that she had babies...
