Diego Manuel in the hospital...

The guy who attacked Diego Manuel doesn't realize what harm he does when jabbing innocent people with a knife.
Although he got stabbed in his arm, Diego Manuel's hand got so badly infected that it ballooned to immense proportions.
Fortunately, he did go to the Centro de Salud.
He could have lost his forearm if he had waited a couple of days longer.
But he couldn't stand the pain any longer.
At the centro, they had to refer him to Managua, as it was really bad.

Not only this, but the work in and around the house has come to a stop.
And this is the rainy season.
Diego Manuel can't attend school and is loosing valuable classes, (can't even get there on his bike because of the pain in his arm.)
This makes his little girl very sad, and that in turn makes Diego's mother feel very sad.

On a brighter note... One of our guests just made a whole bunch of people very happy, and it didn't cost him a penny! The gentleman asked at the lost and found of his gym if he could take home all the stuff that had been laying around there for 6 months. The gym owner was pleased that the place didn't look like a yard sale any more, the guy felt good because he knew he was going to make a lot of people really happy with the tennis shoes, socks and other stuff, and about a dozen needy young people are walking around with some "brand new" used shoes and other gear and this made their day as well!!

Thank you for thinking of this great idea. What some people leave behind as trash is like a treasure to others. It pleases me to be able to report things like this as well!
