Marcos, one of our workers came by yesterday with a friend who's baby has pneumonia.
He needed medication that costs C$204 (almost $10) but that is half a week's pay for most Nicaraguans.
As you have read in earlier posts, very often these young parent's kids die because they can not afford the medication.
The Hospital is supposed to give the medication for free, but I have never met a person that actually got anything.
He promised me that he would come by later to let me know what happened.
Let us all hope that this young father came here on time.
