First night at Jesus Amigos big success!

Several of the Chavalos told me that they had slept like a king on a cloud on their first night at the Center! Some had never slept on a mattress in their lives. And now, they had a nice safe place to spend the night, freshen up and even have breakfast. A couple of kids couldn't believe that most of the other people live like this every single day. Hearing this, it makes me feel ever so fortunate that I don't have to struggle to find a dry place where drunks don't bother you and your flip flops don't get stolen during the night. I do hope that it may last for ever!
