We had a couple of days with really heavy rains here in Granada.
The bridge that was in repair on the main road into Granada got flushed away.
The big opening was previewed this Saturday in the presence of President Ortega.
Walls from a local school got washed away.
Bosco's house had over a meter of Water inside the house.
He had to hold his very young baby up in the air until the water level dropped.
Diego Manuel's roof got blewn off the house he lives in.
For hours, the heavy rain was pouring down on everything that he owns.
All his school stuff got ruined, his mattress, his TV, ...
Soon, the rains will stop until next May.
In the meanwhile, the last days of winter are the worst, as always.
Nothing we can change about that.
See you in 6 weeks...
Jan
