I'll be back..

I'm off to Europe for 6 weeks.
It is not really a vacation, I need to have a minor operation and also need to renew my passport.
Of course, it will be great to see my family and friends again.

During my absence, food distribution will continue as always.
In case of emergency, there is still some money left in the Chavalo fund for medical aid or other urgent things.

I had a nice talk with Orlando from the Centro Jesus Amigos.
We will be selling bracelets at the hotel that are being made by several of "our Chavalos".

If there is any interest in ordering them, let me know, and when I come back in the end of October, maybe We can start supporting the center again with the sale of "pulseras"!!

I told Orlando that I was very pleased with the Center being open on Weekends.
Unfortunately, one of the kids was attacked by some anti sociales in the middle of a week night to steal $1.50 .

Maybe, in time, the Center will be able to expand their nightly stays.
As I said earlier... one has to start somewhere!
