Poor things...

Poor people live in poor neighborhoods.
Life in these places is so much harder than living in the city center.
Within one week, three friends got attacked and robbed.
One of them is, again, Diego Manuel.
While walking home, he got mugged and they stole some cash that he had earned that day.
They also stole the food that one of our guests had given him to take home.
Gabriel was hit so badly that I didn't even recognize him. His face was all swollen up and blue.
I knew it was him because of the blind eye he has.
The other one got robbed at knife point.
As usual, these people have so little and are the victim of aggression and theft.
December should be a time of Christmas spirit, not of more misery...
Anyway... we'll make sure that the Chavalos have a great Christmas next Sunday.
