I also got great news from Chuck, the gentleman who helped out many families last easter.
He is back in town and has brought many surprises for the Chavalos of the Centro Jesus Amigos.
Shoes, clothing, ...
He also brought enough funds to finish a school "Centro Juan Pablo II".
Currently, they are in a small (rented) house with 70 pupils.
Once the new school is finished in about a month, it will serve 120 pupils.
If that isn't a great Christmas present, I don't know what is!
A very merry Christmas and a healthy and happy 2012 for everybody!
We will keep on helping out the Chavalos, you keep coming back now, you hear!
Today is Doña Esperanza day and many of the kids have come by to say thanks.
Many flip flops and other things have been handed out to the Chavalos.
So I say "Thanks" to you, the people who help make this possible.
