Just as I feared...
Jose angel just arrived at the gate telling me that he had to borrow money from a neighbor to take the bus to Granada.
Enough money to buy two pounds of rice or beans.
He checked with profesora Nicolas how the situation was with his so much needed diploma.
And you can guess what she said...
Check back next Tuesday.
The only way to get hold of it is hiring a lawyer to get it.
This will probably cost $20 or so.
Money he doesn't have...
Isn't it sad that because some incompetent administrators, and I'm not talking about the profesora, she is really trying to get hold of it, a kid looses a full year of classes!
And although Jose Angel is extremely patient, it makes me sad to see that these things are considered normal here.
Tomorrow, I will try to find out how much a lawyer will charge.
