The boy whom came by last week with a terrible case of fungus is doing fine again.
He came by this morning to say thank you and to show me that his feet were back to normal again.
Gabriel was feeling homesick after not seeing his family for several months.
He asked for the bus fare to Managua and a little bit of money to buy some rice and beans for his mom.
$7 took care of everything.
He can't go home and stay there a couple of days without bringing his own food.
Even the bus fare is out of reach for him.
The Chavalo fund is the only way that he can stay in contact with his family.
Ernesto has been behaving very well lately.
Unfortunately, he hasn't made it back on the list yet.
We have been able to expand the list over the years, but there is no room for that now.
He, and some others will have to wait until somebody leaves for Managua or so for a while.
Fortunately somebody wired him some money to buy a pair of flip flops and a T-shirt.
Somebody "borrowed" his flip flops, and he had been walking barefoot for some days.
Let us all hope that it stays dry like it has been for the last couple of days.
The sun gives you vitamins, and it shows!
