Chuck!

Thank God for visitors like Chuck!
With the help from his friends and family back home, he made sure that many families here in Granada had an unforgettable Easter this year.
What you see here on the picture is only a tip of the iceberg. A LOT of rice, beans, oil, sugar, soap and shampoo, sardines and tuna, ... was given away to some of the poorest families of Granada and beyond.
Even Doña Esperanza had the surprise of her life when she heard that the outstanding debt on her mattress was canceled!
She was SO happy that you can't believe it.
While we paid her a visit in her food stand, we got the opportunity to give some meals to a couple of new guys.
A bunch of volunteers whom have been working on the repairs of a bridge got rice, beans and oil as well.
They are giving days of their spare time to the community and deserve some reward in return.
At least they don't have to do this heavy work hungry.

What a wonderful Easter it was for so many people!!
To all who made this possible:  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
