Michael & Diego Manuel and Alondra

Today, on the day of the Revolution Sandinista, when all but the TV channels owned by the Sandinista party were blocked out, we got some bad and a lot of good news.

First, Michael came by with a hole in his head. He was hit with a stone by some "anti sociales", probably drunks or drug addicts.
Anyway, he needed some professional stitching at the hospital.
He had nothing worth steeling, the thug did it maliciously for no apparent reason.

Then Diego Manuel came by.
His arm is out the bandages, and the stitches have healed more or less nicely.

With a surgeon staying here giving comments on the work they do over here, I can observe these things a little bit better. I have seen some of the worst stitches ever!

One of our workers had had an operation on his appendicitis, his skin was stitched with folds and plies!

Believe me, stitching up people is not their strong side here!

Anyway, Diego Manuel is feeling a lot better.
His daughter, Alondra, is home again, and he is extremely happy that she is back with her family.

Everything's well that ends well.
Hopefully they will be spared from bad experiences for a long, long time now.
